Mutual Fund Holdings API - Features

Mutual Fund Holdings API is a useful tool to get publicly available mutual fund holdings data including the stock prices and other securities in the MFHs, stock ticker symbols and identifiers, exchange names, the number of holdings, the percentage of portfolio, the value of holdings and more, all in one in a single API response. The data is collected directly from official mutual funds websites and SEC reports and accessed in JSON format. The data is available historically and updated in real-time allowing you to track the changes in the portfolio (and the value of each item in it) of the mutual fund holdings you are interested in.

The data provided with the Mutual Fund Holdings API is used for viewing and analyzing the stocks and other securities in publicly available mutual fund holdings item by item. Access Finnworlds Mutual Fund Holdings Database and determine if a MFH is worth investing in. Build a platform for your clients on which they can do the same efficiently.

Find out what stocks and securities a mutual fund holding consists of, and get data about the entire portfolio of a MFH through the API system.

Add a particular date as a filtering parameter in the Mutual Fund Holdings API endpoint, so that you can view the case of the mutual fund. By obtaining mutual fund holding data of a certain past period that keeps being up-to-date through the API, you are able to spot and analyze trends in the MFH. Such data can be used for  predicting if a mutual fund is worth investing in, or giving ideas on the spotted trends of mutual funds.

Mutul Funds API

Integrating the Mutual Funds API into your product will allow your end-users to get updated data on mutual fund holdings on a daily basis. They will be able to keep up with the changes in the mutual funds based on new weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually reports made available by the mutual funds themselves and also through SEC. Since mutual funds are not always publicly available to invest in, unlike exchange traded funds, we gather data on mutual funds that have been publicly announced, and store and maintain it in the  Mutual Holdings Funds Database.

You can get mutual fund data based on the ticker symbol or the identifier of the mutual fund itself, or focus on a specific stock or securities and examine in which mutual funds that stock or securities are available. Since mutual funds are more actively managed unlike ETFs, it is important to keep updated with the changes in the funds to be able to benefit from this advantage early, and possibly beat the market. For this reason, the Mutual Funds API provides details such as how many holdings the mutual fund holds, their percent of portfolio, and current total value, all asset by asset (for example, stock by stock), and makes sure that every time you make a new API call, this data is up-to-date.
