The API output provides a detailed overview of a company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) operations. The “ticker” represents the company’s stock ticker, while the “cik” is a unique number assigned by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The “companyName” indicates the official designation of the firm, whereas the “documentType” denotes the type of the submitted report. The “approvalDate” and “submissionDate” reflect the times of form approval and dispatch respectively. The “environmental”, “social”, and “governance” mirror the points achieved in each ESG category, while the “ESG” provides the cumulative score. Lastly, the “link” contains a web address where the full documentation can be viewed on the SEC website.
